Brighton Farmer’s Market changes format for COVID-19

What’s in store for the market in 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are bracing for some big changes to one of our favorite summer events – the Brighton Farmer’s Market.

This year, all market purchases must be pre-ordered online with no walk-up sales or browsing being permitted. BFM organizers are working hard to keep the market open while still staying in line with physical distancing measures to protect the health and safety of all community members.

What does 2020 Market Policiesthis mean for Le Petit Poutine?

The Town of Brighton has decided that food trucks will not be permitted to sell our regular menu of ready-to-eat food at this year’s market. That means we will not be able to sell poutine at the Sunday market as we have been doing for so many years. #tragic

But fear not! We will be there with a new menu of Make & Take options for you to cook and serve at home! Click over to our Brighton Market Menu to learn more. Place your order for pick-up by 12pm Saturday to guarantee your order.

Arranging Pick-up

Brighton Market asks that you remember the following when picking up your pre-orders:

  • Wear a mask, and only send 1 member of your family to pick-up
  • Check for your pick-up time by using the alphabetized time slots
  • Please remember to leave your dogs at home this year.

It may look different this year, but remember, we’re all in this together! For more info, visit the Brighton Farmer’s Market website.
